As with all the open top baits, these can be fished in any way. Slot a whittled down popup in them and they'll lift a size 4 on a hinge. Pop a wafter in there and they’ll be good on a ronnie. Or slot a hard hooker in there and they’ll be a wafter on a size 4. For smaller hooks, balance with putty via the hole in the underside negating any need for putty on the rig for the crays to remove.
