About

Growing up in Cambridge during the 90’s, getting lost around St Ives and wondering if there were actually any carp in Fen Drayton, and then moving to Devon in later life, I guess I was pretty oblivious to the cray problem growing in other parts of the country.

It wasn’t until a few years back, when I decided to tackle a couple of huge sailing pits on the Cotswold water park, that I was fully introduced to how bad things are. I came home from my first session with a handful of half chewed plastic baits, overly stinking of whatever flavours I’d glugged them in the week before.

There’s nothing more depressing than spending good money on the best baits you can get your hands on, then the one bait that really matters, you’re forced to use an inert lump of plastic that’s second best to any of the good stuff sitting on the lake bed.

For my own fishing, and probably sanity, I decided I’d do something about it.

Things snowballed a little.

And here we are………….
